.. And then you remember the reason you’re waiting in the first place. And you accept that you’re willing to wait alone, sleep alone, and smile alone; even if you can’t be together right now. You won’t give up because they’re a part of you and you can’t just let that part of you go. That’s when you realize there’s no turning back now, and you’re stuck with the lonely days and the sleepless nights.
But then you realize none of that matters anymore. Because he’s worth it, and he’ll always be worth it. And you’d live everyday alone in the pouring rain for him. That not pain, nor fear, or even loneliness can keep him away from you.
That’s when you realize it’s all worth it. And whatever happens, friendship or romance, that he’s worth all the pain and heartache because he’s the one who makes you smile, laugh and completes you. And that alone, is worth everything.
