{ DAY 5 - “Ten friends you love, and why.”
So I’m going to bend the limitations to this one because I don’t have only 10 friends. I’m not bragging. I’m just lucky to have so many people in my life who support and love me no matter what. In no significant order:
- The 7 girls and 1 boy that I grew up with, and have had my back for 15 years. You guys have known me from the start, simply put, my better halves.
- E, A, S, N, JCO, J. You girls know who you are. I’ll just say, we do it better.
- Mom and Dad. The two friends who make me mad almost everyday, ever since I started talking. In the end, they’re my truest friends. Irreplaceable.
- Kuya and Kaye. I love you guys together. Give me a niece soon and I’ll love you forever and ever. Lol ;)
- Mercy, Angela, Lamael, Venice. You girls have all seen me at my lowest, and stepped in when you guys knew I needed it. Thanks for being there.
- The BROS. My main boys. Always there to make me laugh, and always know when to stfu. Let’s go Tim’s? Haha.
- Dong Nguyen. Well ain’t you special? Lol. Not really, since you’re a jerk 101% of the time. In the end though, you’re one of the greatest friends I have.
- Cast of DMCI’s High School Musical on Stage. Truly the best experience I had in high school. To everyone who was a part of it: You’re all talented, wonderful people. I’ll never forget you guys.
- God. Always there. Always answered me. Never left me. I love you.
- Vincent Reyes. Pretty typical of a girlfriend to leave her boyfriend for last, right? Well, he’s nothing but typical. Vincent, you accepted me even at my worst. That’s saying something. Thank you.

A few missing.
I wouldn’t share my love and passion for music and performing with any other group of people. We’ve all watched each other grow and evolve into the men and women we are now. I’m so thankful to have you guys in my life. Whether we barely see each other, or hang out almost everyday, you guys had an influence in my life. I love each and everyone of you guys.

It’s been a long and tough year. For me, and probably for most of my friends as well. But I stuck it out, and I couldn’t have had it any easier. I may be over exaggerating, but it’s true when I say I never could have had anymore help. Sure, I bitched and complained (still do) about almost everything and anything that didn’t go MY way. Well guess what? I put it aside and let life flow past me and rolled with every punch that came my way. I cried myself to sleep; yelled my lungs out; ate like I haven’t eaten in over a year; laughed ‘til I cried and loved like I’ve never loved anyone in the past. I prayed for 2010 to be MY year, and it was. This year was THE best I’ve ever had. I’m sure every year from now on is only going to be better than the last.
God answered all my prayers this year. He not only opened so many doors for me, he kicked down tons of brick walls for me. I’m so thankful. From the bottom of my heart. So, damn thankful. For everything and everyone.
I love my life.
