{ DAY 18 - “Ten songs that have amazing memories, and what the memories are.“
- Marc Anthony - My Baby You || The song my dad sang to me a few years ago, and it was when I realized where I got my voice from :).
- Kenny Rogers - Through The Years || Again, my dad sang this to me when I was little. Only, this time he sat me down on his lap, and said: “When I get older, take care of me okay? And when I’m gone, make sure you have someone who will take care of you all the time. Always remember that no one will love you more than me.” .. I was crying while he said this. And I’m tearing right now.
- Jim Brickman ft. Jordan Hill - My Destiny || The song Vincent and I first sang together during a fundraiser / contest held at our high school three years ago. We ended up winning that night.
- Fantasia - I Believe || The song I proudly sang at the Grand Finals of Pinoy Pop Star 2010. I will never forget the feeling of exhilaration the moment I stepped onto the stage. It was my first time performing in front of a huge, sold-out crowd. Although I didn’t win, the experience itself is one of my biggest achievements.
- Willie Nelson - Always on My Mind || The first song I ever sang on the old school minus-one machines. My parents sent the tape over to Philippines and that’s when my relatives realized there was a singer in the family :)
- Christian Bautista - The Way I Look At Me || One of my most recent memories; Mine and Vincent’s first dance.
- James Ingram - Just Once || I don’t know how, or why, but this is the first song I remember Vincent ever singing? And I remember he sounded so good, too!
- Whitney Houston - Greatest Love of All || The song I sang at my 7th birthday.
- Celine Dion - The Power of Love || My parents’ wedding song. It’s also the song my mom always wants me to sing when there’s karaoke around.
- The Disney Medley - Circle of Life, A Whole New World, Part of Your World, Go The Distance, Make a Man Outta You (As performed by WINNIPEG GLEE CLUB) || The song I sang alongside Jesse Baris, Elsa Mutya, Grace-Ann Panganiban, Joey Villanueva and Jim De Castro during our first ‘debut’ concert as The Winnipeg Glee Club. It was my favorite number of the night, and I couldn’t have sung it with another group of talented performers.
